Regulations
FIFA regulations apply to all games. IPSF adaptations and amendments to these include that:
- Teams will be placed into brackets using a balloting system. The number of teams participating will determine the number of brackets.
- All games consist of the standard two 45-minute periods split by one 15-minute break. If needed, a penalty kick will determine the winner.
- For final games (Championship and Third Placing), two additional 15-minute periods will be permitted if necessary.
- Maximum team size is 18 players and 2 staff.
- Only 16 players may be registered for each game.
- Up to 5 substitutes are allowed per game.
Brackets
The preliminary brackets will use a round robin system, allowing each team to play
every other team within their bracket once. The quarter-final and advanced rounds will use a single elimination system.
Points for each match will be awarded as follows:
Win – 3 points
Draw – 1 point
Loss – 0 point
The points accrued will determine ranking
